Is the decklink HD extreme 3d what I am looking for?
So my company just started shooting with sony EX-3’s and we are trying to reduce render time some one suggested to us to get the Black Magic decklink HD extreme 3d for our computers that we would be editing on and I was trying to do research about it but I don’t fully understand it and if it would actually help us (I am a mac user but I have limited knowledge of making computers work I am learning as I go)
so I am trying to see if these will help us in the way we want. We have two Mac pro’s and we are editing in final cut pro if any one has any experience with these or could suggest something that could work better your help would be much appreciated!

No capture cards reduce render time. Its solely dependent on the speed of your computer and drives.
