Is the Cache-A Multiple Volumes feature supported in CatDV?
We don’t have a testing environment anymore so I can’t verify this.
Can someone chime in before I enable this feature?
Yes we will have a huge backlog of assets to bring into CatDV.

Which feature is that, backing up the same file to multiple tapes, or directly mounting external volumes, or something else? We probably don’t support it but you’re probably best checking with JB&A or Cache-A.

ver 1.3 supports tape spanning (page 75 man)and I wasn’t sure if CatDV would know when Cache-a decides to span files to another tape.
Hoping there is a better way to manage the amount of content going to VTAPE without going over tape capacity.
