  • Is selecting with eliptical marquee tool possible in action?

Posted by John Rich on September 21, 2008 at 11:17 pm

I want to apply a matte like selection around a group of snapshots.
I’ve done it singly with the elipitcal marquee tool to create the selection, then Q for quickmask, then Filter – Brush Strokes – Splayed strokes, then Q, then Select inverse, then Backspace.

When I tried an action, it seems to work ok, except, the selection is only in the upper left hand corner of the snapshot. Is there anyway to have “action” recognize the full selection?

    Thanks in advance.

Nope…. Insert a stop telling user to make a selection…. and allow the continue option

    Thanks Richard,

I’m going to have to look into Actions further to figure out how to do the Stop and Continue.
