I am capturing HDV footage via firewire using the HDV-ProRes 422 capture preset.
    Final Cut Pro 6

    Sequence settings are set to:

    Frame Set: 1440x 1080
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1440x 1080
    Compressor: Apple ProRes 422
    8 Bit Processing

    Mac Pro:
    2 x 3GHZ Quad Core Intel Xeon
I had 6 gigs of ram but I took 2 out because I read the Final Cut should go by pairs of either 2, 4, 8, 16
I am getting ECC Errors on one of my memory sticks. Should I be worried about this?

    External Hard Drive:
2 TB Western Digital My Book Studio Edition II
Set to Raid 0 (Mac OSX Extended- Journaled)
    No Partition
    Esata Cable

    ** So, Right now… I have a 3:30 min video.
    4 Video Layers
    1 Audio Layer
Very bottom layer has 1 color corrector
Top 3 layers all have a desaturated filter

ESTIMATED TIME TO RENDER THIS IS 45 MINUTES.

Does this sound right or could there be something else possibly going on?

    Thanks for the advice!
