  Is it possible to transfer subclips from merged clips to their references?

  we’re editing a documentary on a mac OS X 10.8.5 and we’ve been having a lot of trouble with ppro 7.2.2, particularly with merged files.

  first we wanted to log by using marker-notes, but they don’t work with merged files. so we made subclips out of the merged clips, only to find out that those subclips can’t be edited correctly either.

  so now the only workaround is to kick out the merged files and edit only with camera sound, and merge the clip in the end after editing (with pluraleyes).

  because subclips seem to work only when they’re not made from merged clips.

  …but the problem is they were all made from merged clips!!

  is they’re anyway to transfer those subclips to their references, so to the unmerged movie-file they were merged with?

  hoping not to lose all my work by having to make all the subclips again. thanks!
