Is it possible to repair a corrupted file?
During a shoot, I was capturing straight from camera into FCP. After closing the Log and Capture window, I began to break down my equipment. I unplugged the external hard drive (while FCP was still open) instead of my camera.
When I try to open the file captured, I get the error message “The movie could not be opened. The file is not a movie file.” Is there anyway to recover this file?
I can see the file on my hard drive, I just can not access it. Is there a way to recover this file for use?
