    Is it possible to output (only) audio over firewire using DV device?

    Hi all,
    I have a few DV camcorders and Canopus ADVC converters which I use for capturing analog video, is it possible to use these devices as Firewire audio devices? If so, what programs would support outputting audio over Firewire?

    Look into Adobe Audition, the sister audio program to Adobe Premiere Pro, which imports video with audio via firewire.

    Thanks for the suggestion Robert. It seems like only the high-end audio programs can access Firewire devices.
