In other words I want a clip to move from 0 to -100 in the x direction. However I don’t want it to ramp up to 100 or down to 0 at the end. I just want it to move at the same speed across the entire move from right to left without speeding up or slowing down (in other words get rid of “easy out” and “easy in”).

There are some bizarre workarounds and I’m sure someone will chime in.

But if its that simple, you can animate the crop effect. It’s completely linear.
