Is it possible to create position/rotation/scale presets in After Effects ?
Hey,
at the moment i have to deal with about 50-100 shots per day,
all shot in 1280×720, wich i have to rotate,scale & position exactly the same way & each clip needs to have its own sequence.I was wondering, if there is any possibility to create an effect,
wich automaticly places the layers in the right way. So i don’t have to do it all by hand.

You need to make an animation preset. Create your position,scale and rotation for one layer. Press UU quickly to open up the changed properties for the layer and select them all. Now just go to the menu bar Animation > Save Animation Preset and give it a name and save it.
It should appear in your Effects & Presets window under the user presets. I don’t do scripting, but if someone came up with script or macro to automatically apply that preset to your layers, you’d be all set.

Apply Transform Effect(Distort>Transform) to a solid and change the transform properties in Effects Control Panel.
Now go to Animation> Save Animation Preset and save it at Adobe After Effect Preset Folder.
Now apply it to you Layers and it will automatically apply the transform properties that you have saved as a preset.
