  • Is it possible to copy text from MS Word into Photoshop as a text layer?

    Hi there

Basically Ive got a lot of text in MS Word that I need to put into Photoshop and change the font and size etc, but is there anyway I can copy it over so it is pasted as an editable font layer, or do I have to retype it all?

    Thanks in advance

Try it again, but select the Text tool and click on your canvas first.

As side a note, it’s not going to copy your formatting.
Also, if you have a lot of text, you might want to create a text box (sorry, not sure about the correct term). Instead of just clicking on the canvas with the Text tool, click and drag as if you were create a selection.

    Hope this helps,
