Is it possible to apply motion tracking to mask points?
If so, How? Do I need a plugin (free?) How can I accomplish this?
Is there a tutorial somewhere?
I need to key out the background around my host, but there’s a bunch of stuff in the back ground.

Keying pertains to picking a colour/hue to key out. Sounds like you want to rotoscope, using masks. There is an AE Javascript that coverts mask points into positional data. Search the Web for ‘Trackerviz”.
