  • Is it possible to animate between two paths?

*Goal: effect of text spinning in to tornado

    *Trying: animate text along path
-mask 1 is an open path where the text going in to the tornado
-mask 2 is a closed path where the text revolves in a loop

Is this possible? Specifically I can switch the path mask from 1 to 2 at a point in time?

The alternative is to only have 1 path and repeat the loop at the end. The challenge with this is find the exact position to loop so it does not appear the animation is cutting out

One alternative you could try is to use the Distort>Twirl effect… have the text travel along the path then animate the twirl at the appropriate time.
