  • Is it possible to add time to the BEGINNING of a timeline?

Posted by Daniel Haskett on May 3, 2005 at 1:10 am

    hi there,

Was just wondering, you know when you make a composition longer by say 10 seconds, it always adds it to the end of the composition, is there anyway of making it add time to the front of the composition?

    Thanks

    Dan

I don’t think you can add time to the beginning of the timeline. Even if you were able to,
then it will have to be in minus. So the bottom line is add time to the end of timeline
and select your layer(s) and move them over accordingly.

You can add time to the composition, then select all layers and use Alt + Shift + Page Down to move all layers 10 frames down the timeline at once.
