  • Is it possible to add more than 1 transition at a time?

Lets say you have a narration track and you what to clean up some potential pops or clips. I normally place a 6-10 frame audio dissolve centered between edits to soften them up.

Instead of doing them 1 by 1, is their a way on FCP to mark an in, and an out point, highlight the track and then dissolve all the edits between both points?

You can do that, but not how you think.

Set the 2 fr. fade your Default Audio Transition, select all the audio clips in the timeline, then drag them back into the Canvas on the Overwrite with Transition overlay. Your audio clips will then have the proper cross fade on all the selected clips.

    Makes sense?

    Thanks Kevin, I’ll try that.
