Is it ok to close a project while creating proxies?
Will the connection be maintained between hi-res/proxy if I close the project before the proxies finish transcoding?

Hi David,
Yes, it’s fine to close Premiere Pro while the proxy files are being created. Just make sure that the job started first in AME before quitting Premiere.
Maybe run a quick test before starting a large job, just in case ? I haven’t run into any issues though.
