Is it *impossible* to edit streaming video that I got offline?
I know it’s crappy quality, and probably there’s no way to manage the conversion, and it surely doesn’t work in Premiere…but…
I work at a university as a video specialist, and they’ve got some RealMedia streaming video (.ram files) that, if possible, they want to do very simple editing tasks to (like removing some empty space and boosting audio volume, for example).
Is there *any* program/method that can edit .ram files?

I think one of the real producer applications can export to AVI. It’s been such a long time, not sure if they still allow it. Either way, you’ll need a Ram to AVI converter.

The whole Enron movie appears to have beem made from captured streams. Looks even worse when blown up for the big screen.
