is IOHD reliable?

We’ve been using the IoHD for over a year now. Initially it was bought as a capture device (rather expensive…) for Betacam SP to ProRes422.

But now it serves as an output device for both SD and HD (we’re still shoot and edit SD, but will move to HD any day now…)

I’ve had no problems at all. But you should be sure to use the latest drivers from Aja.
The latest driver is mandatory for FCP 7, but also works with FCP6.

I have to agree with everyone. I have been using mine pretty much exclusivley with my Macbook Pro no flaws or hick-ups feel confident in knowing it will not fail you.
