Is IO compatible with FCP5
From what I can see at the FinalCut site, the answer is yes. But if you take a good look, you will see that this page (https://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/specs.html) has not changed much since FCP 4.5 and some of it’s parts are the same (like link to Final Cut Pro HD Device Qualification PDF file, https://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/finalcutpro/qualification.html).
Now, can anyone give us official info on this question?
I would like to take my place in the line to buy Tiger/QT7/FCP5 but not if IO will not work with this combo.

It was working at NAB at the AJA booth. But I don’t think they have done a lot of testing. At least that is the impression they gave at the booth.

The Io is not compatible with Tiger yet, but should be about the same time Tiger ships.
