  • is H264 w/MPEG-4 audio possible?

    Hi,
200+ tapes handed to us with these specs for exporting. Using Compressor, we were able to pick MPEG-4 but not the bit rate or sample size and the client couldn’t hear the audio on the sample. Anyone have thoughts on what to do with this?
(i’m looking into FlipFactory and vantage but haven’t finished installing it yet)

    the specs are:
    Video:
    H.264
    640×480
    Video Frame Rate: 29.97
    Data Rate: 5Mbs
    Quality: 100%
    Generate Time code Track: Yes

    Audio:
    MPEG-4
    Audio Sample Size: 16 bits
    Audio Bit Rate: 192000 bits/second
    Audio Channels: 2
    Audio Sample Rate: 48000 Hz

    Thanks,
    Frank

It looks possible in Compressor 3.5.3 and MPEG Streamclip, but I don’t see a place to change the Audio Sample size either. I would assume it would be 16 bits per channel. I do not see the option for MPEG-4 audio in Adobe Media Encoder. Just seems odd to have to use antiquated software to make the files.
