is Compressor the buggiest program or what?

September 27, 2005 at 10:16 pmYour not the only one.. I gave up on mine. I use DVDSP to encode DV and it seems to work just fine.

September 28, 2005 at 6:50 amahhhhh….where do I start, to not bore you with details, it just doesnt work, I tried for 6 hours last night, to get a DV sequence to open in it, it just kept crashing over and over again, so that is really what IM talking about, I have just gievin up at this point, also it wont MUx audio which is what I need to do with an MPEG stream, so it really is a mute point now….thks anyways….

September 28, 2005 at 10:40 pmI always use the export via compressor function in FCP and so far it’s worked pretty well for me.
I’m going to check out DVDSP though and see if it’s any better.
Will report back!

It’s an Apple product. It’s part of the FCP Studio, or you can buy it as a standalone app.
