  • Is C4D the only AE Friendly 3D App? Can’t Be!

I’ve read how C4D is so compatible with AE. There’s like a one click button simplifying the process. Great. But for me as a Maya user, it forces me to learn a new app.

I’m familiar with C4D, but splitting my mind in two trying to master that PLUS Maya is stalling my progress. I’d prefer to know ONE 3D app really well, Maya, and bring that into AE.

Any links to plugins/methods for the current Maya 2008+ and AE CS4, I’d appreciate it.

    There’s some information here:
    “Baking and importing Maya data”

Here’s a search that pulls up some useful items.
