  • Is BitVice still alive??

I’m strongly thinking about purchasing BitVice, but I see that they do not support Intel-Macs and have not released an update in a year and half. Does anyone know if they are still developing BitVice and/or when they plan to release an Intel version?

    Thanks,
    Parke

That’s a good question…..they also tout the features of the Pro version like batching, but it still isn’t available. I think they wrote a pretty clunky interfaced, but decent quality encoder for MPEG-2, took our $350, promised more stuff, then ran with the cash.

Not saying for sure, but it seems like they are not moving forward, but standing still.

    Oh yes, BitVice is alive!

We are still developing BitVice ( and other related products)
It is a big misunderstanding that BitVice should not support Intel Macs
If your Intel Mac has 8-cores, though, you should read this:

Well it may well be worth reading that information even if you have a less powerful machine;-)
