[Ann Bens] “In Premiere its under AVI. Drop down the Video Codec, there you will find it.”

    For export, yes.

Is there a way set HQX as the codec for preview files?

I just did a test using the HDX codec as the export codec. Here’s how it compares in terms of speed.

    For a 3:03 1920 x 1080 23.937 music video that had quite a few effects.

    1. DNxHD/QT took 6:28
    2. UT/AVI took 7:09
    3. HDX/AVI took 8:02 using the standard setting

Well, at this point I will stick with DNxHD since its a standard and exports pretty quickly.

I do not see the codec being available for preview.
