Is Adobe Illustrator the only way to get text objects into Zax? I have Freehand but I’m still stuck running AI in Classic mode with a spattering of pathetic fonts. Have they at least upgraded to alow versions higher than AI 9? Just curious. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Paul,

It is not compulsory to use Adobe Illustrator.
I use CorelDraw12, convert my texts to curves, then export to AI (version 7) and so far have not hit a single problem. Once in Invig or in ProAnim I would set the Spikebuster to 100 and choose the appropriate edges. All can be found under the Objects tab.

As for the version higher than AI (V9), I also use Adobe Illustrator CS and found no related issues with the either of these applications.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Paul.

Version 4.x of Zaxwerks Invigorator 3D and any version of ProAnimator has a Text editor built in,
so in many cases, you won’t need to import any outlines. You can do all of your editing within Invigorator.

Take a look at the demo version to see if it fits your needs.

Let me know if I can offer further assistance.
