Irritating color banding
Hey I want to export an animation in .mp4 which has a gradient background as shown in image. But this color banding is really spoiling it. I have tried adding noise but it doesn’t solve the problem. What should I do?

change the project settings to 16bpc or 32bpc (float)

But I have to output in mp4.

You can render it to mp4 if h264 available. 16bpc will mostly remove the banding, if it still exists then check your render settings.

add something to your project…the more stuff you add the better…once you add something the banding will go away…and if not make your end of ramp further away from your start of ramp.
