“Irawian” Reflectance Layer won’t scale in render
Posted by Ryan Paterson on December 10, 2014 at 1:44 amThe texture on my sleeve object won’t scale at all and I can’t figure out what the issue is, because when I put it on other objects it scales just fine->

December 10, 2014 at 4:15 amI guess you’re probably testing the scale parameter on Reflection Layer 2, but that layer is all but invisible because of the layer mask you’re using. In the mask you have a layer shader in which you’re multiplying a noise over another noise that’s almost completely black.

December 10, 2014 at 1:41 pmI don’t see any difference here. Are you talking about scaling the UV in the texture tag or scaling in the reflectance shader itself?

December 10, 2014 at 3:54 pmDirectly in the shader. If you create a primitive and drop the texture on it, lower the scale U and scale V to about 10% and you should see what I’m talking about

December 11, 2014 at 1:25 amNevermind, that worked. Had to wait until I got to the machine it was on to test. Don’t know why I was getting that strange result above but it doesn’t matter now. Thanks!
