iPhoto and Photoshop
Hi there,
This is probably more an iPhoto question, but I hope you can help anyway.
I am fairly new to using Mac and have to get use to the file management system, especially iPhoto.
I can understand, that when importing a raw (.NEF) file into iPhoto it automatically makes a JPEG copy. But some of the photos seems to be in RAW anyway…? In my iPhoto preferences I have changed the edit settings to open in Photoshop instead of iPhotos own editing options. That works fine, my raw images opens correctly. But when I from Photoshop go to open and into iPhoto library, I can only open the JPEG copy. Have you got any idea why?
Also, when going through open in Photoshop, I can change file-type and resolution. What’s the purpose of this?
I hope you can help! Thanks a lot!
Anne.
