iPhone type matte
Posted by Erik Olsson on April 10, 2021 at 4:57 amI was wondering if you might suggest a suitable fcpx plug-in etc so that I could drop in a horizontal iPhone still into another shot running underneath?

April 10, 2021 at 9:42 amHi there,
I suppose You can just blend them together by tweaking the transparancy a bit. Or maybe just using the built in dissolve transition. Hope I understood the question right.

April 10, 2021 at 2:34 pmRipple Training just released a free FCP plugin called “RT Blend Modes.” It lets you “test drive” different built-in blend modes when you composite one picture over another, to see what the result would be before you actually apply a blend mode. Check it out here:

I think I’ve seen other iPhone templates. Maybe PremiumVFX or Pixel Film Studios. Look in FxFactory, too, for others besides OSM.
