I made the rookie mistake of shooting 3 videos with my iPhone in portrait mode. Trouble is, they’re really good stuff. So I’ve decided the best way to deal with them is to do a split-screen effect with all 3 of them.

When I show the videos in the Preview Window, the screen is divided into thirds, with the video in the middle and black bars on either side. I’d like to have the videos running simultaneously, each in their own third of the screen.

I’m pretty sure Event Pan Crop is the way to get there, but I can’t figure out exactly how. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you’ll find that Track Motion is a much easier way to do this.
Place a copy of each on its own track and then use TM to offset it.
Try -250 X on the top track and + 250 X on the bottom one.
    Good luck with it.
