Seriously though, the iPad looks to be a sleek, powerful, well-executed, er.. oversized iPod touch. I’ll have to wait and see what uses it may have.
The announcement that would really make my day would be a 15″ quad-core Macbook Pro with eSATA, so I could finally ditch my trusty G5 desktop; maybe someday…

Can’t imagine it for editing….
However, I’m kinda surprised that my wife has been out to the studio at least 3 times since the announcement to remind me that SHE WANTS ONE asap.
She’s a huge consumer of magazines and apparently the coverage on the network news has her very excited.
Actually, me too since when we travel, while I’m content with 2 or 3 paperback books, she insists on taking a stack of the kind of fashion magazines that typically print on 300lb ChromeKote stock such that her carryon tote always seems to push 100 lbs.
Maybe the’ve got another one right.
Who knows?
