  IP stream playout through Decklink Studio

  Hello

  I have a Decklink Studio installed in my server. I need to recieve and playout H.264/mpeg-2 IP stream with windows media player, VLC or Quicktime and get SDI output from this playout through my decklink studio. I need only the video output.

  Is this possible with decklink card?
  If not, is this possible with any Matrox cards, some card in G-serie or M-serie or Parhelia serie…

  currently I use Magicsoft Playout software for playing out offline mpeg-2 files through decklink, and it is fine…but Magigsoft doesn’t support IP streaming services..

  I use FFDshow codecs by the way for decoding mpeg-2 and h.264, if it is correct to do.

  I can even recieve the ip stream with Elecard AVC HD player, if decklink supports it.

  The server is in another country and I control it remotely, so the decklink card is physically out of my reach and thus limited testing 😉
