  Iomega Ultramax-Power Failure

  I have an Ultramax Plus 2tb drive set to JBOD, which contains all my FCP capture scratch etc – the power socket on this unit is failing.
  I have an older Ultramax 1tb drive set to RAID 1, one (or both) of the drives are dying on this one.

  I’m thinking I can remove the drives from the unit with the power problem and put them into the older unit,
  but I need to know if it’s as simple as switching the older unit to JBOD prior to fitting the drives, and then turning it on,
  I don’t want to switch the RAID settings, plug the drives in,turn it on and find all my data gone!

  as always, any help much appreciated
