    Beta to DV Easy Setup
    FCP 5.1.4
    Firmware is Current
    Drivers are Current

    PROBLEM:
It worked fine until it would FREEZE right when it began to capture in a batch capture. I restarted the AJA and the lights turned on nice. I start FCP – strange green stuff fills the screen. When I start the Log Capture Window the green stuff goes away. NOW I have deck control but not vid/audio. The video IS looping through to the Sony Monitor.

    INTERESTING:
The AJA still WORKS on another FCP computer setup. i get video and audio

    WHAT I TRIED:
    Uninstall/Reinstall AJA Drivers (3.0)
Uninstalled FCP with AppZapper and Reinstalled it – Then Updated it to 5.1.4 – THEN Uninstall/Reinstall Drivers

    Thanks All.

trash your FCP preferences. If you do not know how to do this, ask, and I will post info.

    to delete FCP preferences –
    /users/loginname/library/preferences

    delete com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist

    /users/loginname/library/preferences/FinalCutProUserData

delete the 3 files in this folder (I think they are called
Final Cut Pro Preferences, Final Cut Pro Obj Cache, Final Cut Pro Prof Cache). If these are not the exact names, it’s easy to figure out when you open the FinalCutProUserData folder.

close all your windows, and reopen FCP, and you will “start from scratch”.
