io vs. kona 3 for prores
So the IO HD has hardware support for ProRes, which the Kona 3 does not. My question is, would editing a project in ProRes then be faster using an IO vs. a Kona 3 on the same computer? How much of a hit in CPU will there be if using a Kona 3 without the hardware support? Does the hardware support mainly help during capture, or does it also speed up editing a multi-track ProRes timeline?

for pro res, its all about capture, so it would be a photo finish, a you pick ’em finish.
