IO, New iMac and FW800
I see that the top of the range new iMac has a FW800 port on it.
Would this cause any issues having my G-Tech FW800 drives running off that and having the IO into a FW400 port at the same time…? -

You might be able to do it, but it’s not recommended. You should really separate the io and your firewire drives on a different bus which is impossible on the imacs.
