Io LA and FCP voice over tool
Hi,
I’ve got an Io LA which is working fine but when I open the Voice Over Tool and select the Pro IO as the input source, it reports that the device is being used. If I put External Video to Off, or Video Playback to None, it will then allow me to switch the input source to Pro IO but then I won’t be able to send the video playback to the video monitor in the v/o booth when I play the timeline.
What I would like to do is to play the timeline and do a voice over recording using the Voice Over Tool.
Any advise ?

It doesn’t work with the AJA Io. It’s not a core audio device.
You need to use another audio input …
