Io HD Latency?
Posted by Bill Portune on November 6, 2007 at 4:21 pmHow many frames of latency have you new owners found the Io HD to have?
Love my original Io, but I found the latency too aggravating to work with – it’s great converter though!

November 6, 2007 at 8:20 pmI have found that it varies from setup to setup, codec to codec.
So far, 2 seems to be about right for me. It’s much better than the ioSD, but the ioSD never really bothered me once I got used to it.

I’m still waiting for my ioHD in Australia…
Anyway you state your offset for Leopard, though Aja saya that their drivers are not qualified for Leopard. Do you have a beta or do you just use the 1.0 version with success?
Cheers

FCP has not been updated for leopard, when the FCP update is out I am sure that AJA will have the correct drivers.
