    Invigorator layer and other 3D layers overlap ??

    Hi All,

    I’m just starting out with Invigorator AE. I have a simple object in my scene and using comp camera + lights.. All is looking good. However, when I add other 3d layers and position them in 3d space they are not correctly obscured by the 3d object.

    Is there a simple button i’m missing ? I have the comp set as advanced 3d rendered, can’t think of anything else. I hope this is not a limitation of invigorator.

    Hi Andy.

    There is currently no way to make an AE layer intersect with an Invig layer.

    If you’d like your layers to intersect, you can create your 3D layers
    in the Invigorator using our Plane primitive. You may use our Layer Map
    functionality to texture the Planes with AE layers.

    By having everything in the Invigorator, you can make layers/objects intersect
    as well as move them in front and/or behind each other.

    Alternatively I will just split the layer and move above/below the invigorator layer…
