    Yikes…

Confused with this. I know how to invert alpha channels of an image in the project window but wondering how I can invert it with a text?
Its a bold black font with stars cut out. I want the stars to be solid and the rest to be invisible.

    Thanks anyone!

My intention is to have light animated over the stars, revealing them as
    the light travels past.

    Thanks again for any help

I went ahead and made the mask in photoshop.
    A fairly simple solution 🙂

The best solutions are often the simplest.

You can use the Invert effect on the alpha channel.
