Inverted Background on Text
Hello.
I am trying to make a fan made bumper for a defunct TV channel. Now, I’m trying to get some text, which is on an inverted background, but it is inside the text.
If you don’t know what I mean, here:
As you can see, the text on the video, inverts the video, only inside the text. I have no idea on how to explain it better.
Can anyone help me achieve this effect?

Here is what you need to do:
- Add a track above the event you want the title over and duplicate the event onto that track. You should now have two events on two tracks, one above the other.
- Add the Sony Invert FX to the top event (the one you just created).
- Now add another track above both of them and add your title event.
- Finally, change the compositing mode of the title track to Mask (Multiply) and
- Change the Child Composite Mode of the track below the title to Make Compositing Child.
You should now have a title with the video inverted inside of it and your tracks should look something like this:
