Inverse Telecine 3:3:4
I have a bunch (22 hours) of footage that was shot at 18 fps on super 8 and has been telecined to 30 fps on BetaSP. I have not yet decided if I should edit at 29.97 and then use media manager to make a copy of the used media in the final product to inverse telecine or if I should run the inverse telecine first, and I also was hoping that anyone might have some experience running an inverse telecine off a 3:3:4 pulldown… Does anyone know if there is a plug-in or something for cinema tools that will run this, or if I can easily set one up? Thanks for any help, I haven’t encountered anything like this before and would like to get it right.
