“Invalid file format” illustrator texture
Hi I’m using C4D r23 in windows 10. I can’t use .ai files as a texture, it says Invalid file format. I used to use Mac and I could do it. Is it a bug? Please help

hi, I am talking about using an .ai file in a material.

I have never been able to use an .AI in a texture field. AS far as I know you’ll have to export as something rasterized.

this is in mac C4D R17 I was able to use .ai in a material, maybe it changed in new versions. Thank you for your reply
