intro video to main menu problem
1st and foremost thanks for the great site!
I’m having a problem with a dvd where I have an intro video that eventually morphs itself into the main menu. The problem is that after its finished the screen goes black and then the main menu comes up.
I’ve looked extensively for an answer as well as calling the adobe people themselves. They want me to believe that this is normal behavior. Is it possible to have a video that does not go to a black screen before changing to the main menu?buzz

The basic step is to make the intro video part of the menu background video. Then set the Loop point timecode to where the intro video stops and the menu begins.

If the video does not end in black, there shouldn’t be any on the DVD.
Where are you testing this- in Encore preview or a DVD player? If not a DVD player, check it there (burn to DVD RW to save yourself a coaster) to see if there is black between the video and menu.
