Intro sounds
Posted by Christophe James on June 14, 2008 at 8:42 pmHello there.
I’ve recently started working with Adobe After Effects. I’m getting used to the video interface but I realized I never have good sounds for my intros. I need brief sounds to go with videos introduction..
Something like that : https://www.videocopilot.net/dsfx.html
But preferably free.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Chris.

June 16, 2008 at 4:19 pmWell as I’m starting and don’t know if I’ll do any serious business with After effects or anything like that I do not want to pay for sounds :S

June 16, 2008 at 7:06 pmWhy would you buy After Effects if you weren’t planning on doing anything serious with it. For what you paid for AE you could’ve bought many sound FX packages. Just type free sound FX in a search engine. There are a few sites out there with them, none as good as the Video Copilot ones though. In that package you not only get the sounds, but some very good tuts as well. Well worth the cost.

June 16, 2008 at 8:28 pmGotcha. Stll just use a search engine for free sound effects. Many sites even offer samples that you can use while you learn the program.

July 1, 2008 at 2:59 pmtry http://www.digitaljuice.com too, for their soundfx. They have email special offers all the time, for crazy prices. I have all 3 vols, at US$99 a piece. Each volume has minimum 10,000 sound FX
I use AK’s sounds quite a lot, though
