    Hello!

I just wanted to say, that this website is wonderful!! It really helps to see what is possible!

I really am very interested in the intro of Aharon Rabinowitz – is there any tutorial of “how to do it”??
I am a absolut beginner in after effects but this intro is exactly what I was looking for!!

    Any information?

    Thanks,
    Franca.

Yeah, there is. I don’t remember exactly where it is but I think if you click on Aharon’s avatar at the top of the page and scroll down to his tutorials, it’s one of the fractal noise tutorials.

GREAT!!! Thank you! Now I understand how the back is made… but still I don’t really know how he made this funny text-hopping and stuff like this… I am as I told a absolut beginner and I think it is not that difficult.. but I really don’t get it… it is sad 🙁

Thanks Aharon! I really try to learn after effects and step by step it seems to work – but it is still difficult!
But this website makes it easier and by the way: I like the funny but still informative stile!
I am so glad I found this website!!!! *thumb up*

I’m not sure I understand what your question is. There’s no special animation on the text. For the Creative Cow letters, each letter is on it’s own layer and so I just set their in point when I wanted them to come in. The rest is very simple animation of motion from right to left, or or scaling.

    Hi Aharon!!!!

In fact I am simply overwhelmed I think.I have to try more things out!! But am partly “overstrained” because I have lots of ideas I don’t manage to realize them!!!
I know photoshop, illustrator, InDesign and premiere..but after effects was new!

I wanted to try to do more with text – to make the premiere stuff I already built more interesting! And within the last 5 hours of watching your tutorials (not joking!) I feel more comfortable with it!

I am sorry when this entry is getting more detailed but I am glad to ask some questions to a pro!;)

AE has a better keying tool than premiere has (I have to make a broadcast – with greenscreen and also a nice typical “NEWS”-Intro), so I changed from premiere to AE!

BUT NOW THE PROBLEM: I wanted to “fly-in a 3D-text” from the bottom to the middle (like STARWARS but with 3D – and in the end you can see it frontal) AND when you see it frontal, there should be a light shining over the text (like a glance – you know?)

I found some written tutorials but didn’t quite get it 🙁

    Greetz!!!!!!! 🙂

it’s your lucky day. I just submitted this weeks podcast – and it covers creating 3D extruded Text.

I think that’s what you’re asking about, anyway – where the text has depth. Please explain what you want, if i don’t understand.
