    hi there,

working in illustrator 10, and i have a logo spelling the word Budget.

I didnt have the exact font to use, so traced paths round the logo instead. However the insides of the B, D, d and e are white paths (on their own) rather than transparent areas inside the larger outline path of the letter – if you know what i mean.

How so i intersect the white paths with the blue background of the letters?

Please help this is doing my head in!

    Xav

    cheers that seems to work

also did it by simply selecting the paths and making them a compound path too.
