Interpret Footage script to set a batch of files?
Hi,
I’m working on a feature and have to set the interpret footage for a over 1400 clips. Does anyone have/know of a script or other method for setting the dialog without individually setting it for each clip?

I suppose it depends on how you’re try to interpret the footage.
You could go into Edit>Preferences>Import and change the way imported footage is interpreted. Then change it back after your project, or the second choice is probably better, many more options.
In the Project Window, Right Click one of your 1400 clips, Interpret Footage>Main, change it to what you want (and I’m assuming the rest of your clips).Click OK.
Now select the clip again, Interpret Footage>Remember Interpolation, then select as many clips as you want to have that interpolation applied to, and Interpret Footage>Apply Interpolation.I got this from one of Aharon’s tuts, I just can’t remember which one.

In premiere CC2017 I just realized that you can select as many clips as you want and right click, interpret footage, modify clip properties to all of them 😉
