yes, the same problem. i couldn’t compare to ae7 (i don’t have it installed anymore) or to cs4 (i don’t have that version yet….).
in quicktime the footage was perfect (all unique frames, no duplicates)… so i guess we can rule qt out on this one…

since ae7 was powerpc only and did not support multiprocessing, i forced cs3 to open under rosetta (runt he powerpc version) and disabled multiprocessing to see if that would help.
it did not. so it’s not just an intel-mac version problem…. i don’t know what your platform is.

i tried exporting the file to different MOV files and got the same duplicating frames
i also tried to export to AVI and Img Seq and it worked ok so maybe its something with Quicktime
another option i can think is different is in AE 7.0 you can Hold alt and open the Quicktime and i couldnt do that in CS3
does that help???
