  • Interpret Footage always greyed out/cannot select

Posted by Matthew Dublin on March 18, 2013 at 8:15 pm

    Hi Everyone,

I’ve researched this to the ends of the Web and cannot come up with a solution. No matter what I do, I cannot access Interpret Footage, it’s always greyed out.

I’m trying to render a movie that’s looped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you attempting to access the Interpret Footage dialog?

You need to have the footage item selected in the Project Panel in order to access Interpret Footage. I recommend selecting the item there and using the right click context menu or cmd-opt-g to get to the interpret footage dialog.

    Darby,

Thanks so much man, man I feel retarded now. I’ve been selecting the Composition file, etc, this worked fine.

    Thanks again!
