internet demonstration
hi guys
im working now on a demonstration clip for a internt site
part of the clip is showing the diffrent parts of the site
so what i need is to do some zoom in into a video of the site
the catch is that this needs to look perfect in high res all the time
so i dont thinck that the normal video capture software will do the trick
any body has done that before?

I would suggests asking the people who run the website if they have access to the design files used to make the site. That way you can get the psds or ai files used that is hopefully better quality then what they used for the site. This may not be the case and you may still have to do some recreation for some parts.
Sometimes you can get a way with screen capture or just downloading the images used to make the site directly from the web. It depends on how far you want to push it.

I use Camtasia to do any capture which has the computer interface or a website on it, and am able to output at 1920 x 1080. One of the tricks to success is making sure that your computer graphics card is set to a high resolution.
Another thing you could do is “fake” the interface. Do a fullscreen capture of the still website, then add the motion elements in After Effects, as well as any mouse pointer motions you want. It’s done all the time, but doesn’t quite look as “live” as doing Camtasia capture with the real thing.

when you use it and need to zoom in,doesnt it loose a little bit of resolution? -
It depends on what resolution your video card can display, and how far you need to zoom in.
